Our Walking Trip to Find Tadpoles
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007On Thursday May 24 we walked to Stissing Lake to find some tadpoles for our classroom aquarium. On a previous jaunt, we looked for frog eggs and returned with lake plants and two snails, but no frog eggs. Yesterday’s expedition yielded no results. We have been wondering why. Perhaps the weather this year has affected their breeding times: has it been too cold? Have the temperatures been too wacky?

Jessie’s Wind Generator
Wednesday, March 28th, 2007
Jessie has been working on a wind powered generator. This is a work in progress. Here’s the link to the PowerPointPresentation. (It’s also a very large file, so give it time. We may be dividing it into sections, so it won’t take so long.) Windmills2[2].ppt
