Our Walking Trip to Find Tadpoles
May 29th, 2007 by andrew crispellOn Thursday May 24 we walked to Stissing Lake to find some tadpoles for our classroom aquarium. On a previous jaunt, we looked for frog eggs and returned with lake plants and two snails, but no frog eggs. Yesterday’s expedition yielded no results. We have been wondering why. Perhaps the weather this year has affected their breeding times: has it been too cold? Have the temperatures been too wacky?
